Privacy Policy

Hermes Assistant is a personal tool with a single user: its owner. It connects the owner's own Google account to an AI agent that the owner runs on a private server. There are no other users, and no data about anyone else's Google account is ever requested.

Google data the app can access

• Google Calendar (calendar.events, calendar.events.readonly): to create events the owner has approved, and to read upcoming events.
• Gmail (gmail.send, gmail.compose): to send emails and create drafts the owner has approved. The app does not read, search or list the mailbox.
• Google Drive (drive.file): only files the app itself creates or that the owner opens with it.

How the data is used

Google data is used only to carry out actions the owner explicitly asks for. Every write is shown to the owner as a full preview first and happens only after the owner approves it. Google data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or for training any AI or machine-learning model.

Storage and security

The OAuth credentials and the records of proposed and approved actions are stored on the owner's private server, in files readable only by the owner's account. Nothing is stored in a public location or in a code repository. Access can be withdrawn at any time from the owner's Google Account permissions page, which invalidates the stored credentials.

Sharing

Google data is not sold, rented or shared with anyone. Content is sent only to Google's own APIs to perform the approved action, and to the AI model provider the owner uses, as part of handling the owner's own request.

Limited Use

Hermes Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
